Soundwave 1 of 2: The two vintage 80s Soundwaves used their telepathy to form a collective mind, though they are both capable of acting and speaking independently. Soundwave 1 of 2 is the one with slightly looser joints and a missing Decepticon insignia. He is still a loyal Decepticon, he just lost his insignia after being mugged by ferrets and never bothered getting a new one. He's more likely to transform into his alt-mode than 2 of 2. It was his idea to harness the incredible power of cheese by converting it into energon.

Both Soundwaves were missing for a time after Zab Jade moved to the farm. One of 2, with the help of 2 of 2, was able to dig himself out the box he was stored in. While 2 of 2  and Ravage stayed behind to search for Rumble and Frenzy, 1 of 2 trekked from the shed to the house, only to find Vanwave in Zab's room. Zab begged for forgiveness for giving up hope of seeing her beloved toys again, which the Soundwaves granted after she promised to get a Megatron.









Soundwave 2 of 2: Two of 2 has tighter joints and his Decepticon insignia. He doesn't transform unless absolutely necessary because part of his right front corner is missing. This damage doesn't show in his robot mode. Soundwave 2 of 2 is the one who gathered blackmail material to use against Zab in order to force her to purchase Megatron.

After the two Soundwaves freed themselves from the box, 2 of 2 and Ravage searched diligently for Rumble and Frenzy. Unfortunately, they weren't able to find them. Luckily, Zab, worried Rumble and Frenzy would be lost due to their small size, had uploaded their minds to her laptop before the move. She downloaded the two into temporary bodies until she can afford to buy replacements.
 









Zab Jade: Zab Jade is the owner of the toy collection. Her drawn comic avatar is a purple, black, and red scootercon, but when interacting with her toys, she possesses the form of black-haired Majin Vegeta. Her main functions appear to be goofing off, increasing the Decepticon ranks, and tape deck cuddling.

Zab is a rabid Soundwave fan, to the point that her TF form is a sub-type of cassette (scootercons turn into both cassettes and scooters). Fortunately for her, her Soundwaves tend to indulge her, and let her cuddle them at times. They also willingly play music for her and can sometimes be convinced to sing.

Despite the name of the comic being The Random Potato, Zab insists there is no potato and that Starscream, who keeps seeing it, is having a mental breakdown. Whether or not she truly believes this or is just messing with him is unknown at this time.








Ravage: Ravage is one of Soundwave's cassettes, and the only one to be found after the move. When he isn't playing lap kitty for Megatron or the Soundwaves, he likes to roam the bedroom and sometimes play with Stygian and the large cats. He can't speak, but the Soundwaves, Vanwave, Zab, Lasetar, and Stygian can all hear his thoughts when he chooses to transmit them. Only the Soundwaves, Stygian, and Lasetar can understand his cat speech.


Universe Ravage: Like vintage Ravage, he can't speak, but can be understood by most of those who matter. Zab got him so both Soundwaves could have a kitty.












Rumble: Rumble is one of Soundwave's cassettes. Even though he's a toy, Zab goes by the cartoon, so Rumble is the blue one. His body was lost in the move and his mind downloaded from Zab's laptop into a brown toy horse until she can purchase a new body for him. He and Frenzy do a weekly question and answer comic for The Random Potato called Ask Frenzy.

Rumble is a demolitionist, warrior, and cheerfully cocky little punk. He likes music and has an addiction to various Harvest Moon games.


Frenzy: Frenzy is one of Soundwave's cassettes. Even though he's a toy, Zab goes by the cartoon, so Frenzy is the red one. His body was lost in the move and his mind downloaded from Zab's laptop into a black toy horse until she can purchase a new body for him. He and Rumble do a weekly question and answer comic for The Random Potato called Ask Frenzy.

Frenzy is a warrior, a demolitionist, and the security officer of the cassettes. Like Rumble, Frenzy enjoys music and Harvest Moon, though he isn't addicted to the games. He also likes donuts, long walks on the beach, playing the drums, and social networking.





Starscream: Starscream tried to take over as the leader of the Decepticons in Megatron's absence, but the Soundwaves declared themselves temporarily in charge and told Starscream he was now the receptionist. To enforce this, Soundwave 2 of 2 sat on him while 1 of 2 kicked him. Shortly after this, Starscream was attacked by a mysterious, many-eyed creature. He vehemently claims it was the potato, but Zab is just as adamant that there is no potato.









The Potato: There is no potato.

Vanwave: Vanwave is TF:A Soundwave. Zab bought him in a fit of weakness while convinced she would never find the box with her beloved Soundwaves, which she found a mere hour after purchasing Vanwave. While nowhere near as horrendous as Cybertron Soundwave, the Soundwaves weren't happy to see Vanwave in the bedroom. Despite this, they allowed him to live and stay in the room.

Lasetar: Lasetar is TF:A Laserbeak. He turns into a guitar instead of a cassette.
